Postlane Documentation
Postlane turns your development workflow into short and long-form content. Write code, commit it, and let Postlane draft the posts.
How it works
- Initialise a repo with
npx @postlane/cli initand add it to the desktop app - Run
/draft-postin your IDE -- Postlane reads your git context and drafts posts based on what changed - Edit the draft, customise per platform, and approve in the desktop app -- or schedule for a later time via a connected provider
What you can post to
LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Mastodon, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Substack Notes, and more. You can reach platforms through a scheduling provider like Zernio, or connect directly to platforms that support it without any provider in between.
Where to start
- Installation -- get the desktop app running on macOS, Windows, or Linux
- Your First Post -- walk through from zero to first sent post, step by step
- Scheduling -- connect a provider and queue posts for the right time
- Direct Channels -- connect to Mastodon and other platforms without a provider
- Analytics -- measure traffic driven by your posts
